Ayrex is a crypto based binary options brand and open their platform in 2014. Their innovative approach includes a no strings attached demo account. They promise that the platform “will not lag, freeze or hiccup”. From a customer service perspective, they promise fast payouts, honest promotions, and no tie-in of merchant funds. The company is operated by Advanced Binary Technologies Ltd, based in St Kitts.

One of the main advantages of Ayrex is the demo account without deposit. The platform can be used with demo funds, without the need to register or provide any contact details. Ayrex is confident in their platform and lets everyone try it, absolutely free. At the moment the firm is not regulated but has applied to CySec. Despite a lack of regulation, the company boasts a strong reputation for customer service and has not raised any complaints with us so far.

Ayrex does not currently accept traders from the United Kingdom.

Trading Platform

The Ayrex trading platform offers a clear and simple area, with all the necessary data available to traders. The platform is not very different from other brokers, but the layout is well thought out and traders will have few complaints about the usability.

The left side of the platform contains the price chart for the selected asset. The time scale can be adjusted, and there are also buttons that will quickly snap the trader back to specific points – the current quote, for example. It can be zoomed in and out to reflect larger or smaller time frames. Users can also switch between display types (for example charts for charts or candlesticks).

The right side of the trading platform contains all the trading buttons. First, the type of options are listed at the top of the screen. Ayrex offers binary options ‘Short Term’, ‘High / Low’ and ‘One Push’.

Among the trade types are the asset lists. Grouped by Category (Stocks, FX, Stock Indices and Commodities). Traders can expand or close each category to see the list of assets within it. The listings are comprehensive, and during our review, almost all open markets were available, indicating that Ayrex has a good trading volume on their platform.

Once an asset is chosen, the price graph on the left will update with the new data. The trading ticket will also update. This is just to the left of the asset list. Here, the trader can amend the trade size, and the expiry time. The payout is clearly displayed just above the trading buttons, and the current strike price is shown above the trade size box, and also on the price chart. If a trader ‘hovers’ over the Call and Put buttons, the price graph will display the direction the price will need to move – just to guard against any errors.

Once confirmed, the Call or Put trade will appear in the ‘Open Positions’ window, which sits below the trade buttons. Below the price chart, traders see a history of trades that have expired and closed. There are also ‘News’ and ‘Signals’ tabs in this area, which keep traders informed of other trading opportunities.

Overall, the trading platform is performing very well. It’s not too busy, but still shows the right data. Some extra flexibility in terms of the screen could be a bonus, but overall the platform is very good.

Dealer Selection

Ayrex offers three types of binary options:

  • Short-term – Binary options with expiration times of 5 minutes or less (up to 30 seconds).
  • High / Low – The traditional binary option, with expiration every 15 minutes, up to an hour.
  • One Touch – Ayrex offers Touch and No Touch choices at both a high and low price level. In times of low volume, ‘No Touch’ may not be available, and ‘One Touch’ is mostly only available on major forex pairs.

The asset list at Ayrex is strong. All the major FX pairs are listed, along with a full range of stocks and indices. All the popular commodities are also listed, including oil, gold and even natural gas and palladium.

The minimum and maximum trading levels at Ayrex, and the focus on popular assets, give the impression that they are constantly managing risk and ensuring that it is competitive overall. For a relatively new broker, this also indicates that they will add further assets and option types as they see higher levels of traders and trading volume. Those looking for frontier or ladder options may not have to wait too long before they are added to the Ayrex platform.

Mobile Apps

Ayrex released updated versions of both ‘Ayrex for Android’ and ‘Ayrex for iOS’ during the spring of 2016. The mobile trading app mirrors the platform of the website, with a full range of options and markets that can be traded online.

Feedback for the app has been good and the app is regularly maintained. The Android version requires version 4.1 and above. The iOS version requires version 9.0 and above, but works with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Payouts

Ayrex payouts are competitive and reach 85% for the most traded assets. Payouts will depend on the asset and the expiration time, but Ayrex remains competitive with rivals across the board. One touch payouts are a particular strength and go up to 80% for both Touch and No Touch trades.

Withdrawal and deposit methods

Withdrawals will take approximately three days to process. Brokers always give themselves time to comply with money laundering legislation. An important point to remember is that Ayrex refunds money to the source that made the original deposit. Merchants should be aware of this when making a first payment.

Where deposits are made by different means, Ayrex will allocate any withdrawals to the deposit methods. The minimum withdrawal is 5 GBP. Merchants can make one free withdrawal within one calendar month. Each subsequent withdrawal pays a commission based on the processing fees associated with the payment.

Deposits can be made via Neteller, Skrill, Visa, FastPay and Union. During the deposit process, traders can choose their bonus level to change – ranging from 10% to 30%. There are certain conditions attached to the deposit, particularly turnover requirements before it is available to withdraw. Traders should spend some time on the intended trading volume and frequency, and what bonus level will work best for them – without causing any change in their trading style. The bonus can be canceled at any time.

Complaints

This brand does not produce too many complaints. There were concerns about the payout rates being different on the demo account and the real account, but the broker has corrected the differences and the two platforms are now the same

Delays in withdrawals have sometimes caused disputes, but this can be avoided if merchants make sure to provide verification information as soon as possible, and not wait until the point where a withdrawal is required.

Demo

The firm offers one of the best demo account features of all – no login. Traders can therefore play on the platform without registering any details. To obtain a demo account that stores any trading history, new customers must register – but anyone who just wants to look at the trading platform can do so without any kind of login.

Other features
