Pro Options is a new broker operated by GameTech UK Ltd in London. The firm is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

What makes Pro Options unique is that they currently operate a ‘mobile only’ platform. This means that they have focused entirely on providing a clear and responsive trading application. Brokers usually run a website and then develop a trading app. Pro Options did the opposite and put all their time and effort into a mobile app.

As a new broker, our rankings do not yet include trader feedback. As such, we have yet to give them an approved ranking.

Platform features

As a ‘mobile only’ platform, the Pro Options layout is kept very simple. The first screen traders see is their list of favorite assets to trade. From here, traders take a single click in the desired asset and can start trading. The asset list can be easily modified by adding or removing assets using the ‘+’ button.

This home screen also contains the account functions, so traders can view open or closed trades, and access all relevant account details, plus the deposit and withdrawal screens.

Once an asset is selected, traders will see the chart of the asset price (based on the selected time frame) and the trade buttons. Traders can set up ‘Quick Bet’ options to ensure that the investment and timeframe are always set to the preferred settings. This can be modified if necessary, but is a quick way to speed up the trading process.

The time frame can be easily modified with the arrows on either side of the current expiration. Just below these are the trade buttons. It’s nice and big, making it easy to navigate, even on smaller screens. From here the extent of the trade can be confirmed and the transaction opened. A confirmation screen will appear, clarifying the details of the position, and an indicator will appear on the price chart, indicating the strike price and the direction you have chosen.

If the trade closes, the result is briefly displayed and the account balance (bottom right) is refreshed. Placed trades can be found via the appropriate menu from the home screen.

The trading experience is smooth, with minimal fuss.

Trade choice

As a new brand, the selection of Pro Options is limited. It may grow in the future, but currently it is a limitation.

They offer a variety of options:

Binary Options – The Basic Binary Option. Will the asset increase in value, or decrease? It has expiration times ranging from 10 seconds to 5 minutes.

The asset list includes commodities, forex, stocks and indices, but the lists can be longer. These will no doubt be added to as the business develops. They also offer virtual markets, such as the Pro100 – which can be traded throughout the day.

Mobile

As a mobile network operator, ProOptions delivers a great application.

The iOS-compatible app is on version 1.0.4, which was last updated in March. It requires v8.0 iOS and is compatible with all Apple devices.

The Android version requires 4.1 or later of the operating system. It was also updated to version 1.0.4 in March

Both versions of the mobile app were too recently released for there to be meaningful user reviews at this time.

Payout

Payouts at ProOption are a clear strength. Most traded assets show payouts of around 95%. As always, the payouts will vary depending on the maturities and the asset chosen. Some assets reach levels of 97%.

Withdrawal and deposit options

Deposits can be made with a credit card (VISA, Mastercard or Maestro). Withdrawals must be returned in the same manner.

ProOptions would like to focus on fast deposits and withdrawals. ProOptions is often a cause for broker-dealer disputes, and aims to be leaders in the field of transparency. There are no transaction fees at any point.

As a mobile brand, ProOptions does not offer as many ways to make deposits and withdrawals as some other firms. However, the process is very fast and is protected by the UK Gambling Commission.
